How much can solar save me on my electricity bills?+
Savings vary depending on your energy usage, roof size, orientation and system design. Most Voltaris customers see significant reductions — many halve their quarterly bills. We provide a detailed savings projection as part of your free assessment, based on your actual usage data.
How long does a residential solar installation take?+
Most residential installations are completed within one to two days. The full process from initial consultation to system activation typically takes two to four weeks, allowing time for design, permits and grid connection approval from your DNSP.
Do I need a battery with my solar system?+
Not always. A solar system without a battery will still generate significant savings during daylight hours. We help you determine whether battery storage makes financial sense for your situation, considering your usage patterns, feed-in tariff and the upcoming May 2026 battery rebate.
Is my roof suitable for solar panels?+
We assess your roof's orientation, pitch, shading and structural integrity as part of your free consultation. North-facing roofs in Australia are ideal, but east and west-facing roofs can also work well. We'll give you an honest assessment before recommending a system.
What warranties are included with my system?+
We provide full product warranties on all panels, inverters and batteries — typically 10 to 25 years depending on the component. We also provide a 10-year workmanship warranty on our installations. All warranty documentation is provided before you sign anything.
What government rebates are available?+
Current incentives include the federal STC (Small-scale Technology Certificate) rebate, which reduces the upfront cost of solar panels. The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program opens in May 2026, offering up to approximately $5,000 off eligible battery systems. Voltaris applies all rebates automatically to your quote.
Do you offer solar finance options?+
Yes. We offer flexible finance options including low or $0 upfront plans and interest-free arrangements on selected products. In many cases your monthly repayment will be less than your current electricity bill, meaning you save from day one.
How do I monitor my solar system?+
All systems we install include monitoring via a smartphone app. You can track real-time generation, consumption and any export to the grid. If your system underperforms, alerts notify both you and our team so we can investigate promptly.
